Why I Built This
RosterEasy started from a simple frustration.
Every season, leagues spend hours — sometimes days — trying to build balanced teams. You’re juggling skill levels, sibling requests, friend requests, coach availability, and practice schedules. And no matter how hard you try… someone ends up unhappy.
I’ve worked closely with data, systems, and real-world operations for years, and it was clear this problem shouldn’t be this hard. There had to be a better way than spreadsheets, guesswork, and late-night reshuffling.
So I built RosterEasy.
What We Do
RosterEasy helps leagues create balanced, fair, and practical team rosters — in minutes, not days.
It’s designed to:
- Reduce the stress on organizers
- Create better experiences for players and families
- Handle real-world constraints that most tools ignore
This isn’t just about automation — it’s about making smarter decisions with better tools.
Our Mission
To make youth sports fairer, easier to run, and more enjoyable for everyone involved — from league organizers to parents to players.
Who’s Behind It
William Hunsucker
Founder, RosterEasy
I care deeply about building tools that solve real problems — especially ones that impact families, kids, and communities. RosterEasy is designed to be practical, transparent, and constantly improving based on feedback from real users.
Trust & Responsibility
We understand that youth sports involve families and children — and that comes with responsibility. RosterEasy is built with a focus on:
- Data privacy and security
- Responsible use of information
- Transparency in how decisions are made
We don’t sell user data. Ever.
